Meredith Richardson is Principal of Southern Cross Associates. She is a creative and energetic internationalist who is equally effective with village women and senior leaders. She is guided by a passion for equality and the causes of the marginalized. As a facilitator Meredith designs and conducts interactive, results-producing workshops and retreats. She is able to hear both unique individual voices and emerging themes and is comfortable with diversity on many dimensions. Meredith is also a trainers' trainer. She has designed and delivered a variety of training programs and managed training functions.
As a change management consultant she has worked with clients in more than thirty countries to reposition strategically and increase productivity. She has worked as a field manager and in senior positions in International Development Organizations. As CEO she recruited staff and Board members to bring professional strength to the organization and to raise its profile to to attract funding. She has established a successful small business.
Her accomplishments include creating an organization assessment instrument that serves as the benchmark in the sector. She has designed an online knowledge sharing system for a UN agency to make field operating procedures accessible to global staff. She has conducted teambuilding workshops to build intercultural skills in government agencies and World Bank divisions. For several organizations, she has developed integrated talent managment / performance improvement systems. She has created focused program structures to provide effective services and benefits to marginalized children and communities.
Meredith holds an M.S. in Human Resource Development from American University in Washington DC and is certified in UK employment law. She qualified as an educator and counselor in Australia. Her skills and certifications include education, counseling, MBTI, FIRO-B, Appreciative Inquiry, Team Technologies, management, participatory training and group development, intercultural teams and workplaces.
